POLICIES

Deposits and Booking

A 50% deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments. This deposit must be paid at the time of booking and will be applied toward the final cost of the service. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances. 

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. If sufficient notice is given, your deposit may be transferred to a new appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the deposit. Clients who do not show up for their appointment will forfeit their deposit and may be required to pay a new deposit to rebook. 

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on availability. If the appointment cannot proceed due to lateness, it will be treated as a late cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited. 

Age Requirements and Identification

Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all services. Tattoo services are strictly for clients 18 years of age or older. Piercing services for minors may be permitted only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, with proper identification and signed consent. 

Health and Safety

For your safety, services may be refused if you appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, have a condition that may interfere with proper healing, or if the requested service is not suitable based on professional judgement. The HIIVE reserves the right to refuse service at any time to ensure the safety of both clients and staff. 

Consent and Liability

All clients are required to complete and sign a consent form prior to receiving any service. By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with the service being performed. 

Aftercare Responsibility

Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided following your service. Proper healing depends on following these instructions carefully. The HIIVE is not responsible for complications or unsatisfactory results caused by improper aftercare. 

Touch-Ups

Touch-up policies vary depending on the artist and service. Clients are responsible for confirming touch-up details directly with their service provider prior to booking. 

Refund Policy

All services are final. No refunds will be issued once a service has been completed. Deposits are non-refundable. 

Behaviour Policy

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Any rude, aggressive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Clients who engage in this behaviour may be asked to leave immediately and may be refused future service. 

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted within the space only when proper documentation is provided. All service animals must be on a leash and under control at all times. Any animal that is disruptive or not well-behaved may be asked to leave the premises. 

Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. The HIIVE is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items brought into the space.
