I have been a Registered Practical Nurse for 15 years with a wide variety of nursing experience in Mental Health, Public Health, Occupational Health and Infection Control. I have always had an interest in Aesthetic Medicine and finally took the leap after my most recent maternity leave to follow my heart for this next chapter of my nursing career. I trained in cosmetic injectables at the International Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in Barrie, ON as well as further trainings and 1:1 mentorship at Up North Beauty and Wellness Clinic in Bancroft, and The Beauty Development Aesthetics and Wellness Clinic in Kingston. I have continued to immerse myself in the industry by participating regularly in ongoing education, taking various courses through THMA, Seamless Health and attending in-person trainings offered by Allergan, Merz, Clarion, and Prollenium specific to some of the products I use in clinic. I am committed to regularly participating in ongoing education, training and mentorships in order to stay up-to-date on the newest treatments, practice guidelines and safety measures.
Outside of work I love to spend time with my spouse, our two beautiful babies and our 4 year old Akita Shepard! We enjoy being outside as much as possible and embarking on adventures together when life allows it. We feel incredibly lucky to have relocated to such a beautiful part of the province and can’t see ourselves anywhere other than the stunning Ottawa Valley. Recognizing the importance of putting a focus on our own mental health and wellness, I make efforts to spend time connecting with friends and family and to maintain a healthy balance of work and play.
