 Growing up, I've always had an interest in tools.. knives in particular.  Something so simple as a well-made knife that could do everything from help prepare food, to build shelter and defend oneself against predators and the elements.

Somehow, I've ended up spending my life testing this philosophy over 4 decades of what most would consider a fairly diverse testing ground for a lifestyle.  I grew up hunting and fishing, which I still love to this day, and even took a chance as a lumberjack in hopes that would be enough of the outdoors; but long story short, it wasn't. The Logical next step was the military, as I'd always been drawn to the idea, and from the first minute, I found a home in the infantry.  Two decades later, I've been around the world, from multiple war zones to some of the true wonders of the world... and in all that time, I've carried a knife that I'd made.  I feel comfortable saying that each of the knives I make will get you through 98% of life's little snags — because real-world experience shapes every edge I forge.
